Top 3 Golf Hitting Nets- And the Winner Is?

Owning a golf hitting net can help your game in so many ways. You'll hit your driver and irons more solid, with more consistent direction. You'll hit more fairways and hit more greens in regulation, and we all know what that means- your scores are going to drop.

But you need to buy the right golf hitting net! I've hit a lot of balls into a lot of golf hitting nets, and all are NOT created equal. You want to be able to hit every club in your bag. That means the lob wedge, with it's very high trajectory, to the driver with it's lower trajectory but immense speed.

You'll want the net to be big enough for all the clubs and direction of shots, AND have soft netting that will stop the ball without ricocheting into your leg at 30 mph! So which nets pass the test?

Top 3 Golf Hitting Nets

#1- Callaway 8' Quad Net

(5/5)

The Callaway 8' Quad Net is our top choice for golf hitting nets over all the other products because of a few factors...
1) It has a great loose netting, which allows you to absolutely rip the driver into it without worrying about bounce back.
2) The netting is very strong and resists ripping and tearing.
3) It has a target for practicing different trajectories.

#2- The "Net Return" Golf Net

(5/5)

The "Net Return" net is an extremely nice net as well. It's definitely a top-notch design that is great for both the outdoors and indoors. Designed in an "S-Curve" patented way, it takes even the hardest shots hit into it, dampens the force, and gently releases the ball rolling back to your feet.
1) Netting is extremely strong
2) Net can dampen the force of even the hardest hit shots, gently returning the ball back to you at your feet
3) Preferred by many tour pros
4) Perfect for both indoors and outdoors
So why is this net #2 on our list and not #1? Well, the price is a little steep at around $395.00.

#3- Callaway Eclipse Hitting Net

(4.5/5)

The Callaway Eclipse Golf Net is a great choice for a hitting net as well. We've rated it slightly lower than the other nets because it doesn't have a target. However, that doesn't need to stop you from creating your own target made from ribbon interwoven in the net, or maybe just white tape. Again, the net makes our top 3 because the netting allows for low irons and woods to be ripped into the net at higher velocities with no bounce back.
1) The netting is "floppy" enough to absorb even the hardest hit of shots without bounce back
2) Very strong netting resistant to ripping and tearing
3) Great for indoors and outdoors
4) No target, but perhaps think about adding your own.
This net was rated 3rd due to the lack of target. But as mentioned above, that's really not an issue. Creating your own targets could be seen as an advantage. Instead of one big target in the middle, you could create a few different ones at different heights to really hone in your trajectory control.
